Meghna Petroleum is a State owned oil Company,
engaged in the marketing and distribution of POL products in Bangladesh.
It operates from its headquarter at Chittagong
through its 4 Regional offices located at Bogra, Chittagong,
Dhaka and Khulna.
The products marketed are-HOBC, MS, SKO, HSD, JBO, LDO, FO(HS), LPG, Bitumen,
Lubricating oil (BP Brand) and Greases. The Company has a social commitment
and as such ensures products availability at every nook and corner of the
country through its nationwide distribution network at government regulated
price. The annual turn-over of this company is over Tk.20500.00 million,
gross profit over Tk.300.00 million and profit after tax over Tk.60.00
million. ( 1 US $ ~ 60 Taka).
